In the U.S.M.C.all training and teaching is geared to make one,whether male or female,the best Marine he or she can be.This philosophy of training works well in every phase of ones life.To be all you can be is especially workable in ones Christian life.The apostle Paul tells us God's will for us once we are saved. Roms.8:29 " For whom He did foreknow He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son,that He might be the firstborn among many brethren." Once one becomes conformed to the image of Jesus,he or she has become all that they can be and at this point we have become all that God wants or requires us to be. Always strive in life to be the best that you can be for God's benefit,the benefit of others and last of all your own benefit.
"Eternal Security"
God Himself, being eternal can only offer a salvation which is as eternal as He Himself is.For a person to lose his salvation and his eternal security it would require that God be a liar or lose all of His power.One who believes that they can lose their salvation and that their eternal security is subject to question is of all men or women most miserable. Your salvation and eternal security are gained through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.The apostle Paul addresses eternal security in the book of Roms. chap. 8. Verse 35 "What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Verse 36 "As it is written,for thy sake we are killed all the day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Verse 37 "Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Verse 38 "For I am persuaded that neither death,nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Verse 39 " Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord".For a person to regain his salvation and eternal security once he lost it, would require that Jesus die upon the cross again or for God to send another Son. Christ ain't gonna die again and God ain't got another Son! Christ died once for all of mankind,red,yellow,black and white,rich or poor. Eternal Security as opposed to Eternal Damnation.The choice of accepting Jesus or rejecting Him a choice which can only be made by each individual. God does not and cannot make the decision for you,He must honor your decision! Heaven or Hell?
One can only attain true peace,freedom and joy through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.There will never be true peace in this world until all hate is eliminated and that will not happen until Jesus Christ comes back to this world and sets up His Kingdom.Sin entered this world through and by the act of sin by Adam and Eve.It was further compounded by Cain killing his brother Abel.The trouble that is in this world today,terrorism goes all the way back to the book of Genesis. It is all due to a conflict of birthright between Ishmael,Abraham's firstborn son by Hagar the bond maid and Isaac born to Sarah Abraham's wife.Ever since the birthright was given to Isaac there has been conflict. Ishmael being the progenitor of the Arabic races,who in actuality are half brothers to the Jewish or Hebrew race.The hate of Ishmael for Isaac has carried over and still exists between Arabs and Jews. This is seen especially in radical Islam, whose main purpose is the total destruction of the nation of Israel. The majority of the Islamic faith does not seek the destruction of Israel,just the radicals.Any so called god which calls for the destruction and death of people as well as a nation is in reality not a god.God is love and if He does not express that love He is a liar and not worthy of the title of God. In Jesus Christ one can only find love as His main characteristic.His death on Calvary being the ultimate expression of love.This death was the ultimate sacrifice for all of mankind.All being a very inclusive word taking in each and every human being that has been born and every one that will be born up to the return of Jesus Christ.He has not returned as of this moment,so there is still hope for each one who reads this.I made my decision 60 yrs. ago and I am just as saved now as when it first happened and will be until my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns.A sobering thought for all to think upon is,"Eternity,A Long Time To Be Wrong." AMEN!
"Love,Obey and Trust"
God only requires of you and me,that we love Him,obey Him and trust Him. Simple logic tells us that when we love God as a little child does the trusting and obeying comes easy.Love being the very foundation upon which all belief is founded.We love God because He first loved us and when we love God with all our heart, mind, soul and body,we will fully trust God.Full trust in God makes obedience to God an easy matter.When one is in the mode of loving,trusting,and obeying God,they receive all of the many blessings that God has for them that love Him.May God bless each of you,and He surely will if you fully love Him,obey Him and trust Him. Once a person accepts Jesus Christ as His Savior and makes Him the Lord of His Life, He or she automatically becomes a witness for Jesus Christ. Being a witness is part of the Salvation package.We do not have a choice about being a witness for Jesus when we are saved. The only choice we have is whether we are a bad witness or a good witness.What you do and what you say in your daily walk for Jesus can have a great impact on a lost person,either positive or negative.A saved persons walk and talk should show forth their Savior and Lord Jesus Christ in all that they say and do in their Christian life.An old cliche says "you are the only Bible that some people read". What we as believers say and do for Jesus may be the difference between Heaven and Hell for some lost soul. Man's eternal destiny is determined by the choice that he or she makes about Jesus Christ. Accept Him and live with Him in Heaven, reject Him and be doomed to an eternity in Hell.One thing to remember is that "Eternity is a long time to be wrong". He died for you,what have you done for Him? Let your walk and your words be such that they would bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ! May God Bless!

" The Sabbath"
This article is written for those who put emphasis upon upon the day that they worship, rather than the one who is to be worshiped (Jesus Christ).This apply's to both first-day worshippers (Sunday) and seventh-day worshippers (Saturday).Both a shadow of Jesus.
Gen.2:1- Thus the heavens and the earth were finished,and all the host of them.
Gen.2:2-And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made:and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Gen.2:3-And God blessed the seventh day,and sanctified it,because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.
A question must be answered here.Why did God who needs no rest,need a day of rest? God by taking a day of rest was giving man a pattern which he was to follow,work six days and rest one day of the week.
The meaning of "Sabbath" from Heb. "Shabbath"and Gk. "Sabbaton",means cessation from labor,rest:(1) The Sabbath appears in scripture as the day of God's rest in the finished work of creation (Gen.2:2-3). During the long period from Eden to Sinai,no mention is made of it.Then the Sabbath was revealed to Israel (Exd.16:23; Neh.9:13-14),made a part of the law (Exd.20:8-11),and invested with the character of a "sign"between the LORD and Israel,and a perpetual reminder to Israel,of their separation to God(Exd.31:13-17).It was observed by complete rest(Exd.35:2-3);and by the LORD'S express order a man was put to death for gathering sticks on the Sabbath day (Num.15:32-36).Apart from maintaining the continued burnt offering(Num.28:9),and its connection with the annual feasts (Exd.12:16; Lev.23:38; Num.28:25),the seventh-day Sabbath was never made a day of sacrifice,worship,or any manner of religious service.It was simply and only a day of complete rest for man and beast, a humane provision for man's needs.
In Christ's own words,"the Sabbath was made for man,and not man for the Sabbath"(Mk.2: 27).(2) Our Lord found the observance of the day encrusted with Rabbinical evasions and restrictions (Mt.12:2),wholly unknown to the law,so that He was Himself held to be a Sabbath- breaker by the religious authorities of the time.The Sabbath will be again observed during the Tribulation Period(Mt.24:20-21) and the Kingdom Age (Isa.66:23).
(3) The Christian first-day rest perpetuates in the dispensation of the Church.The principle that one-seventh of the time is especially sacred,but in all other respects is in contrast with the Sabbath.One is the seventh day;the other the first.The Sabbath commemorates God's creation-rest;The first day, Christ's resurrection.On the seventh day God rested;on the first day Christ was ceaselessly active. The Sabbath commemorates a finished creation; the first day a finished redemption. The Sabbath was a day of legal obligation;the first day,one of voluntary worship,and service.The Sabbath is mentioned in the Acts only in connection with the Jews,and in the balance of the N.T. but twice (Col.2:16;Heb.4:4).In these passages the seventh-day Sabbath is explained to be,not a day to be observed by the Christians, but a type of the present rest into which the believer will enter when "he also ceases from his own works" and trusts Christ.A wise old preacher when asked about seventh-day worship and first-day worship,replied, Jesus Christ is my Sabbath seven days a week.The day of the week that you worship is irrelevant,the question is are you saved and do you worship Jesus Christ the "Only Begotten Son of God".
